Processing

ProcessingCaseDriven is a recognized e-discovery firm with expertise in Data and Document Processing. After the information has been collected and preserved, it becomes necessary to process the data in order to move to the next steps in the life-cycle.

Data may arrive at the processing stage in various formats such as PST, NSF, zip or rar, and may need to be converted to facilitate further processing. This is when items become catalogued and associated metadata is captured.

Processing can occur in a variety of ways. The most common practices are Native Processing, Near-Native Processing and Full TIFF Conversion. These practices ensure that the data will be defensible and forensically sound in a court of law. Our project managers will work with you step-by-step during this phase to create an efficient strategy.
